Masana is the Xitsonga name for ‘Sunrise’, and is the symbolic of our role as major contributor towards a new dawn of sustainable energy solutions in South Africa.
Established in 2005; we supply tailored, innovative, and forward-thinking energy, fuel, and lubricants solutions; servicing a broad range of South African industry players. Our versatility, extensive operational experience and meaningful partnerships formed have paved the way for us to be an agile, market-leading energy solutions provider with the ability to think on its feet.

bp Southern Africa:
bpSA's group history in South Africa can be traced back to the early 1920's. Besides being Masana's strategic partner, bpSA is one of the largest oil companies in the country; and our access to their national infrastructure enables us to offer a safer, more efficient distribution and delivery service to customers.
Kwande Energy
Kwande Capital:
With origins in consulting for the Oil sector, Kwande Capital is a young, dynamic, and fast-growing group who invests in small to medium-sized companies with strong market shares and predictable cash flows. Kwande Capitals's primary focus is in the Energy sector.
Ata Capital:
Founded in 2012; Ata Capital (Pty) Limited is a leading private equity investment management firm, featuring significant broad-based black shareholding power (black majority ownership, black-managed).
Masana Employee Share Trust:
The Employee Share Trust owns 14.5% of Masana. All employees who join Masana on permanent contracts become beneficiaries of the Trust and will receive share units. This level of employee shareholding means Masana is a B-BBEE company in the true sense of the term; by affording our employees an opportunity to participate in our growth of the company, through our Shares scheme.
